Asbestos

The 'Duty to Manage' provisions of the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002 came into force in May 2004, were updated in 2006 and further revised in 2012. It is now a legal requirement to actively manage asbestos containing materials in commercial premises to ensure that anyone using those premises is not exposed to asbestos fibres.
